Professor Avery Gordon interviews Sahar Francis (Addameer) on the struggle from and for the Palestinian Prisoners (MP3, 30′)

“Sahar Francis is a lawyer, activist and the Director of Addameer, the Palestinian Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association, whose name in Arabic means conscience, and which was founded in 1992 by a group of activists to provide free legal aid to political prisoners and to advocate for prisoners’ rights. I spoke with her in the office in Ramallah when I was there in March. More information about Addameer can be found at: www.addameer.org. She is asking people to support the case of Khalida Jarrar. More information can be fond here: http:samidoun.net/khalidajarrar/.”
