Seventy Palestinian political prisoners, held by Israel, are ongoing with the hunger strike demanding an end to Israel’s solitary confinement policies.

… More than thirty detainees have been recently moved into solitary confinement, in cold cells that lack the basic requirements for human use.
Forcing the detainees into solitary confinement is an illegal, vindictive and punitive measure,” the detainees said, “Solitary confinement is like graves for the living; we call for urgent and serious measures to oblige Israel to end its violations of international law…”
